LAUFMASCHINE - 3D Puzzle
This is the 3D puzzle of the ' LaufMaschine '. A German invention of 1881 that is the predecessor of modern bicycle. The wooden kit is made from laser cut MDF and its assembly requires no glue as all the parts are inter locking.

1. Laufmaschine or "running machine" was invented by Karl Drais in 1818.
2. It is also called "Draisienne" and "Dandy Horse" as it was a substitute to horse riding.
3. Regarded as the ancestor of bicycles, it was made of wood.
4. It had a steering system but no pedals so the rider propelled it forward by pushing the feet against the ground.
